MLR Institute of Technology was established in the year 2005 with the aim of providing quality education to all sections of the society. The college is being run by KMR educational society under the able chairmanship of Sri M Laxman Reddy.The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education ( AICTE) and is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technology University, Hyderabad
Library
The library has a carpet area of 1075 Sq.Mt. The reading space is 400 Sq.Mt which can seat over 500 students.Library has over 4610 titles, 32942 volumes. More than 132 National and 93 International Journals.Digital library is equipped with 30 Systems connected to dedicated Internet Server. Digital Library is well stocked with NPTEL material covering most of the important subjects.
